AP Lab Information

Lab Composition Notebooks

  1. Number all pages.
  2. Leave the first page blank for Table of Contents.
  3. Page 3 will be where we start the first lab.
  4. Everything you do for a lab must be written or taped into the notebook!
  5. Each lab will be graded individually.
  6. Leave 2 blank pages between labs (4 blank sides)
  7. Lab Notebook will be collected and graded for a final lab grade during the 4th Quarter.
If you are asked to "Cookbook" a lab procedure, each step of the procedure you are going to follow must be diagrammed by hand. No words are allowed outside of labels, measurements, etc. Use as much space as you need so that it is readable.  Why do this? It allows you to be prepared for the lab experience and get the most out of it.
