Lab Class
There is a laboratory requirement for this course. Students are scheduled in a lab class that meets once every four days in our class cycle (A-D). The lab experience will support and reinforce the material that is presented in class. Attendance and successful completion of the laboratory work is a New York State Regents mandate. Students will not be allowed to take the Living Environment Regents exam in June if the laboratory requirement is not met.
10th Period Lab
If you are scheduled in a 10th period lab, we will meet the same day each week (usually Tuesday) and add one additional 10th period lab each month in order to keep up pace with the other lab classes and to ensure we meet the NYS requirement.
Weekly Make-Up Lab Class
There is a make-up class every Thursday 10th period. If you missed a lab you are expected to attend the make-up lab unless you have made other arrangements with me ahead of time.
