BILL (Biology Interactive Learning Log)
This is what we will call our composition notebooks. In your BILL, you will be taking notes, drawing pictures, brainstorming lists, taping in diagrams etc. It will be a log of all of our learning in class. Please cover the front of your BILL with a collage of pictures and words about you.  *BILL idea from Lee Ferguson Allen High School in Allen, TX

Class Expectations
My expectations are that you come to class prepared, on time, and that you are courteous and attentive for the duration of the class period. Class time is precious and we need to make every minute count. With this in mind, please do not ask to leave class unless you are ill or have some other type of urgent matter. Thank you for your cooperation.

Absences
If you miss class, please refer to this blog for assignments and other information. Ask a reliable classmate for notes that you missed etc. When you return to class, please see me to pick up handouts and/or hand in assignments that were due when you were out. As always, if you have any questions, just ask! Making up work is your responsibility!

Quarter Grade Calculation
  • Assignments & Projects (~30-40%)
  • Labs (~20-25%)
  • Test & Quizzes (~35-45%)
